Yep it's been the only topic of conversation around Newcastle for quite a while. The players a peak asset, so we'll have to ignore it. Clubs are going to want him, however the media start from the position of Newcastle will sell him, but he's got 3.5 years left on his contract and somewhere down the line people have written off the Saudis. All the information we have is that we're close to announcing a 1.2 billion stadium project, a 250 million training ground plan and a message from our owners saying this is just the beginning. Newcastle will be adding to their best players this summer. If next season doesn't go well maybe things will be different, but I don't think there's any chance whatsoever of Isak being sold this summer. Enjoy your weekend lads... all fun and games.
show me any of our accounts where we transferred monies to FSG seperate from the normal director fees etc
I cite the £100m black hole missing from our wages bill. It must be true - it were all over t'internet.
Yeah, it's gone to the land of milk and honey on the other side of the ice wall, where all the rich go when they're not actively ****ting all over the rest of us. That's all over tinterweb as well.
@Rex Kramer. It wasnt that long ago Newcastle fans had a bit of a rivalry brewing with Everton fans and they were becoming one of your main rivals... What happened there. You lot had a love-in?
Liverpool are one of the club's he'd probably go to though. I just think our owners mean business and would hold on until the last possible moment hoping we make the next step before the last year of his contract.
Good thread this. Promise this is my last on the subject, but as I keep saying, Oliver is horrifically overrated. The media love-in is absurd. He needs to be properly scrutinised, because up until now he hasn't been, and we shouldn't rest until he is. And not because he had a bad game reffing us (again), but because he's had terrible games reffing everyone (bar Newcastle, as he can't ref them - hence Dunse's devotion). Off to the gym now. I promise I'll let it go now.
Can't disagree. And at least your owners aren't doing all this stadium and training ground investment and then charging it back to the club. That sort of investment needs to be encouraged and praised.
Maybe the club to beware of is Real Madrid. Many top names linked with us like Bellingham, Mbappe etc end up at Real. I am not saying there was ever a realistic chance of us getting these players, it’s usually just agents playing clubs off against each other to get a better deal for their players and themselves. So maybe Isaks agent thinks it’s time to start the process
