OK, the Macallan is open. It's an interesting colour, almost red.

The 'Sienna', exclusively matured in sherry oaks casks, brings subtle notes of vanilla, zest and fresh green apples. The palate opens up with dates, figs and raisins which then defer to nutmeg and ginger before the vanilla returns, tying it all together. The final fanfare is a gentle, smooth and warming finish.

Just as well I'm not pissed, otherwise all of that would have passed me by.

Don't go spilling any at that price!

And I thought my Monkey 47 gin at £37 a bottle was expensive

Merry Christmas everyone...including Ted.
2016 has not been a brilliant year...for the world or for QPR....Although I have had a couple of daughter-related high spots.

So wishing all my extended QPR family the most wonderful 2017. The only way is up!
Off to bed early now ....so I do not disturb Santa when he delivers a brand new lucky duck-blue shirt present for me under the tree

Merry Christmas Beth, I hope Santa comes up with the goods.

Merry Christmas to all of our posters on our forum. We've been through some crap over the years and it shows you what we're made of as we still come back for more year after year, just like Santa. He's a Ranger too ...

...........and here l was thinking Santa was an Arsenal supporter ................ silly me,

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Lem Sip is on my drinks menu as I have the most horrendous cold and cough, if by lunch time tomorrow that still has no effect after the last three days of consuming the horrid stuff, I will just ditch it go for vodka!!!

Perhaps try adding some honey & whisky to it?

My Dad used to swear that Holland Gin was the perfect cure for a sore back.

Merry Christmas from north of the border, to all Hoops fans far and wide.

Here's hoping 2017 brings a change in fortune for our team, and for the world in general.

Drinks menu tomorrow, bucks fizz in morning, a couple of festive flavoured ales and mulled wine before dinner, red wine during (don't know what we're having, off to sis-in-laws for dinner, which will be interesting as husband is Portuguese), some port, then a few BrewDog Punk IPA during the evening, before hitting the spirits at the end of the day!

If you are desperate to shift it, I recommend a good snogging session with Ted. He is good at shifting things.

Only joking Ted - and Kate <eek>
