Hey'up Jock.....someone needs a hug, come on Jock, it's alright, I'm here for you.......<hug>...there there.

I understand what you're trying to say Jock, I really do, and I for one totally respect your right to view/air your opinions on here as you yourself do aptly reciprocate the same towards my good self.

I'm with you on this, I think every Leeds fan around World is aware that Evans take serious consideration in regards to what happens with players on training field, and with good reason of course, after all, what else is he going to base his team selection on.......good comment Jock, I applaud you.....<applause>

However, as you yourself are aware, what happens on training field and on match days are two different things entirely. I'm sure Wood puts in every effort on the training field, as does Duke, Bellusci, Bamba, Dallas and the rest of team, but, from what I see, Wood isn't transferring that same effort to the match games, somewhere along line it seems to be getting lost, or left behind.

Now, you and me, both being level headed and respectfull of each other are aware that what counts is what happens during game on match days, and I'm sure you'll also agree, Wood just ain't cutting the mustard.

I love Evans, same as I love Cellino, I think both are a breath of fresh air and asset to LUFC at moment, but, being intelligent like your good self, I probably share your opinion in saying that neither are perfect and do make the occasional mistake; I just think that continually playing Wood is a detriment to team.

Like your good self Jock, I totally agree with the way Evans tries to instill confidence into his players by not verbally abusing them, especially in public, I am in total agreement with his method; and as you are aware my good friend, I myself am absolutely against verbal abuse of any kind and do not concur with it's use in any form, banter and humour aside of course.

While I may use Antenucci's name in my comments, it's because I personally favour Antenucci over Wood, therefore I have to use his name so others are aware who I'm commenting about, if Antenucci was playing as bad as Wood is at moment, my opinion of course, then I would be commenting that Antenucci needs to be replaced.

Your good self would be aware I'm not anti nucci, you yourself come across as being anti nucci, your right if you are anti nucci, other fans maybe anti nucci while some fans are not anti nucci, it's part of being a anti nucci or not a anti nucci fan/supporter. Those of us who are anti nucci, and not anti nucci alike must somewhere along line come to agreement that we have a problem with our striker, doesn't matter if people are anti nucci or not anti nucci, the realities of the game, team and individual performances, and contribution to team should come first.

Is Evans anti nucci, I doubt very much he has a grudge against Antenucci, but he does seem to favour Wood over Antenucci at moment, for whatever reason; in any other team Wood would've been replaced by Antenucci a long time ago. I myself prefer Antenucci to Wood cos I'm not anti nucci, I'm not anti Wood either by true definition, but Wood isn't bringing to team what I think Antenucci can in a 4-4-2 situation where Antenucci is at his best and probably more suited when playing from start. Like your good self once again, I understand, and respect that others opinions/views of Antenucci are going to differ to my opinions of Antenucci.....:emoticon-0148-yes:

Just to add, Wood doesn't seem to be cutting it as a lone striker either, imo of course.

I still love you Jock.....<smooch>....I hope the hug helped and we see you back on top of weather very soon.....:emoticon-0148-yes:

Morning troops. 2 pts lost I feel. Evans has to look at how to get more out of Wood. As things stand, Antenucci can't play as a lone striker and Wood isn't delivering enough. Therefore, either we get a new striker in the January TW or we change the formation slightly. The first option is nigh on impossible. I would therefore go for 4132 with Wood and Doukara up front, Bridcutt in the holding role, and perm 3 from Bianchi, Byram, Murphy, Dallas, Cook, Mowatt, Adeyemi & Botaka in midfield

Not arguing with that one WiD. Putting him on the bench and playing 3 others might help Murphy to contribute a bit more

Our high possession rate was very encouraging across the defence and midfield, keeping the ball well away from home.

Florist slightly lucky with their goal due to two poor errors. We lacked the final ball and finishing in the last third of the pitch and better finishing would have secured us all 3 points.

Florist are on an upward trend and are unbeaten in last seven games at home, winning their last four games at home, including against Derby, before drawing with us.

I think our disappointment comes more from knowing we should have won. Before the game, perhaps we would have been happy with the point?

did I listen to it, did I watch it, did I watch it, did I listen to it....
.but you, having played at such an outstanding level are going to do brilliantly explaining how Bellusci stepping forward in THEIR half with the ball going over his head is anything other than garbage
......
sure, happy to oblige, he put his left leg forward, then his right leg forward, then his left leg forward again, and so on, thus creating a forward moving motion.......:emoticon-0148-yes:.............you didn't watch the game did you, you naughty naughty cuckoo you.

Must be very very icy where you are.

I must now take my leave as a very special friend of mine needs a hug....
Mercurial - you never fail to make my whole weekend - I just can't thank you enough :emoticon-0148-yes: I know it is sad but I just can't bring myself to feel sorry for you despite it all
