Agree with you about Cook. Think he's been off the boil for a wee while now. Perhaps a rest will do him the world of good.
Am I right in thinking that Bellusci & Byram will miss the next match since they've both clocked up 5 yellows now? Easier decision for Evans to make if I'm right. And I don't think it's a coincidence that Coyle came on for a couple of minutes to break him in.
You feckers say we play well nearly every week, shame results don't support the theory...... We have played everyone in this league and we are Lower end of mid table....... Despite having just had a purple patch.
Break him in? Did he only start kicking a ball last week? Ffs jock you ain't trying to pull the wool over the scummers eyes now.
It's a big mental barrier to walk over that line wearing a Leeds shirt, especially for someone so young. He's got that out of the way now. He's more ready. I don't think he'll disappoint us if called on to do battle.
If ur right he will shine like a beacon among most of the ****e we have....... If he was as good as you think he would have been playing week in week out by now......
Your talking **** is getting worse,we just got a very good draw at Forest, more chance of Man u winning the league by 10 points than us going down.A point away at a mid table team is a good result.
Evening Chippy. Personally I think you're being a bit harsh on the team today. I kind of share your 'realism' though I'm something of a pessimist but it was an entertaining game. In my opinion, they ran through us, at times, because we first went for the equaliser and then tried to win the game rather than sit back. I feel sorry for Wood, he takes up good scoring positions but lacks composure to finish the chances. Trouble for me is if you swap him for Antanucci, it changes nothing, the fans of Ant don't mention that he also missed a sitter and possibly easier chance. Always said I think we need better than both. You see them far more than me but on that performance we need a few quality (and that's the key word) additions to give us a chance. I keep warming to Evans, he genuinely seems to enjoy the pressures of being Leeds manager and seemed to have some rapport with the away support at the end and isn't frightened to make subs to change things. Unfortunately, I fear for the second half of the season if we lose both Byram and Bridcutt, both have that bit more quality than the rest. And I'm also waiting for the next Cellino melt down if things continue to go okay.
Lets test you then,we have a £20 bet with me having top 12 and you the bottom 12,lets double it to £40 give you some easy money then or are you talking ****.
do they not 10 points from the last 12.If we had won today you would be complaining we need more goals, winning every game is not enough we will still go down.
I clearly did hear it jock, but like I mentioned to you previously, how many games is it going to take for Wood to become the super striker some think he is, or for Evans to realise Wood is a none paying passenger who is costing the team. Bottom line is, it's about scoring goals and winning for team and club so we can climb ladder and get into top 6, I don't believe we can do it with Wood playing every week. I can appreciate that Evans saying what he says is much better than saying he's useless, but how long is he going to nurse maid him for, how many goals will it cost us, how many points will it cost us, do you think Evans has to draw the line somewhere?....... If Wood keeps playing and we only have 1 or 2 shots on target, and the team play well but the goals aren't coming, and we don't climb into top 6, do you think we're wasting our breath, and it's unfair analyzing other players performances when Woods is the same week in week out?
who said fishing was difficult when the rivers are overflowing..... Five bites one cast. Feck me that's a record....
Evening LL. I don't think anyone is saying that Wood is a super striker, I just don't think anything will change by putting Antenucci up front. Nothing about him suggests he'll score more frequently than Wood either on his own or in a two. I accept though we all have our preferences and yours is Ant.
Look lads, spare a thought for the less fortunate among us. Here we are whingeing about our strikers and bemoaning only getting a point in a cracking game at a packed City ground. The less fortunate have had to endure a hat trick of defeats, the latest in front of little over 8k pissed off fans. You lads think weve problems, the less fortunate are positively speechless
