If I was a mod I'd be considering banning the pair of you for a week at this point. Stop with the bickering or I'll turn this forum around and go home.
My first direct response to chippie in 3 months after all the blindsiding from him, and you have the temerity to say that. And after your bickering with boab. Have you been on tenterhooks for that whole time waiting for me to finally respond to these tedious attacks? What an unthinking and hypocritical ****er you are.
In common with your namesake, I think you've failed to notice the irony & sarcasm in Marko's witty retort.
The second home game I will miss this year will be Bolton, the third Birmingham and then the 1/2 season ticket kicks in. Never ever claimed to be the NO1 fan or anything like it. You are the one who makes exagerated claims. Anyway why not go back to ignoring me it's better that way. Yes I was at Odsal. I was at most games home and away back then, different times but the fire was nothing to do with me.
The whole forum would be better if you ignored me also. Then everyone would get along fine. Don't believe you were there. And it's great to know you are getting your first season ticket, if only a half one. You have a couple of decades worth of STs to catch up with me. We can speak then.
please log in to view this image I was very young at the time, and didn't realise just how horrific it must have been. I also didn't realize that 56 people died
was caused by the "accidental lighting of debris" under the stand. A discarded match, cigarette or pipe tobacco from a spectator smoking above was identified as the likely cause, but the accumulation of rubbish itself became a symbol of football's widespread mismanagement.
Cross purposes I was talking about the Odsal chip van fire not the VP fire. On the day of VP fire, I was at St Andrews 11 May 1985 watching the team. It was the day a wall collapsed and someone got killed. We came back to Leeds on a train that had the windows bricked out and it was stopped at Holbeck whilst the old bill came in and nicked about 30. Elmo my first game was in 1968 and between 1978 and 1987 I was home and away. Work meant I was only getting to about 10-15 games a year until this year. Now I have a job that means no saturdays working so a season ticket was always on the agenda just wanted Bates gone first.
Am I in the right place to wish All Leeds fans A Merry Christmas & A PEACEFUL New Year View attachment 19926
