But it is when there is an absence of light - ergo your comment is proven to be wrong.
I think it was trying to be patronising - however the use of the extra "the" made it look like an illiterate and careless prat.
I'm studying business economics, and I can safely say if this did happen, it wouldn't be a merger! A merger is when two equally strong companies come together. I think last night has proved that Spurs and Arsenal are definitely not equally strong, so in business terms it would definitely be a takeover of Arsenal, by Spurs!

This was simply my way of saying that we get wum (celtic + rangers merger) arguments all the time on GC and I thought I would have shot. I certainly did not expect my proposal to be taken quite so seriously, especially when Spurs are flying just now and have no need of Arsenal, I just picked a random London club.
