It actually is a decent idea, after ET either highest placed or head to head record decides it.

The world is ****ed. Monty nailed one <laugh>

I dont mind the top team having the choice of strips or something like which way they will be kicking first half. I just dont like the idea of a team going to Wembley knowing that they are going to have to score to win the game, or a team knowing that they just need to keep a clean sheet to win. I mean it may spoil the occasion. A team might sit back and defend all game......at Wembeeerrllllleeeeeeyyyyyyyy!

Aye there’s that.

They’ll never do it anyway like so it’s a mute point ha.

Have to say it's actually not a bad idea - you finish higher in the league then you have almost the away goals rule in your favour.

That said, if it's level after ET tomorrow I want pens - not Charlton to go up!!

I like the idea some bloke came up with years ago. Have the penalties at 90 minutes. Winning team gets 1/2 a goal - then play extra time. Means that losing doesn't necessarily go down to one player / one kick. Only down side seems to be that the penalty winning team might then just go for 30 mins of shut up shop.
