Sorry - I didn't realise that. No offence intended.

I read the Old 606 more than actually posted, I only posted several times, always remember Weaver though, he was good and seemed part of the furniture. Still baffles me why they closed it down because it was pretty active forum, just didn't like the fact it closed at 23.00 though.

I first came across the old 606 back in the final days of Worthy's time in charge, and signed up during the reign of 'Peter the Pointer' and 'Sponge' the Czech striker who dismally failed to live up to expectations. I was backpacking around the world and was in a cyber cafe in Byron Bay when I found the site and it was an absolute godsend, keeping me in touch with all things Canary from the other side of the world. It was also around the time Chrissy Martin made his bow, scoring in something like four successive game and I'd never even heard of him! I remember being over the moon to find this medium of reading Canary fans' perspectives of what was going on and recall people such as WallyBrain , WiltsCanary, HantsCanary, ECK, Mattias333, CanaryJimBob and Weaver being the main contributors.

Here's another blast from the past - whatever happened to Doomcaster? <yikes> That guy made Carrabuh sound like Father Christmas!!
