I agree with you jck200. I am in the Family stand, on Saturday my faith in our supporters came into question by some of their behaviour, Lots of the children wear the red shirt, on Saturday lots of those same children were obviously MADE to wear blue by their single minded parent/parents, one young lad of about 17 was being ridiculed by some of the 'We will always be blue brigade' which was disgusting, i did get involved basically telling these bullies to cut it out, Which they didn't and to be honest it could have got nasty, fortunately it didn't. But people have freedom of choice and that has to be respected. We have a massive majority of really good supporters, however we still have an element of absolute scum. Nothing wrong with expressing your opinion, but nobody has the right to tell someone to change the clothes that they wear. If we are to play in Red then so be it. We will go back to blue one day, however at the moment that is a long way off.
On a lighter note. My first Match was watching John Toshack score a first half hatrick against Hull Tigers in a 5 - 1 victory.

Our owner is a bit off the wall, a little eccentric shall we say, and he is making some mistakes, maybe more cultural mistakes than anything else.
The BU, finding they were getting nowhere with getting our blue colours back, have now turned their attention on getting Tan out, the getting back to blue seemingly not so important to them as that, Tan can be a bit of a buffoon and a much easier target.
Those against Tan pick up on any little scrap of news and use it against him, it really doesn't seem to matter if it is true or not, the main thing is to find something and twist it enough to use in their favour, and some fans are being drawn into this, possibly out of guilt due to the fact they done nothing when the colours were changed.
We can only hope that we get a new manager in quickly and move forward, and that the voice of these propagandists is finally put to bed, because at the moment it reminds me of another time in history, when the people were fooled and drawn along with the ones who had another agenda.

What a lot of these people absolutely fail to realise is this. No Tan = No Club. He is eccentric there is no doubt about that. However he is no fool either, you do not become a billionaire by luck, and if you suspect a number of fingers in the till, then he is fully entitled to hound out those whom he suspects has basically robbed him, and also people would do well to remember, those very people are also robbing the customer = US. The only mistake he has made in this whole sorry affair is not acting quicker, although there may have been a reason for that. ie, compiling all of the facts and figures. As for a court case i think MM will be advised to take it on the chin and move on, his money will never beat Mr Tan's money.

Remember the game JCK, Chatlo hit a 70 yard free kick, and it bounced over the Norwich keepers head. Dry hard ground made the hard ball bouncy and Kevin Kealan was the bloke between the posts, albeit that he was on the edge of the box at the time. Peter King and Ivor Allchurch also scored in a 3-1 win. <cool>

Wow Masky my memory is not that brilliant, thanks for the info and Allchurch was another legend.

Somehow the vision of it being a really sunny day has stayed with me plus that goal.

The day Chopra threw his boot off on fire will be a memory for the future.
