We weren't ... disappointed for sure, but not surprised ... squad wasn't deep enough so when we lost the whole of the back 4 and Maddison it felt like it was going to be inevitable ... might still have avoided it if we hadn't imploded at Bournemouth ... but that was a comedy of errors ... coasting at half time ... disastrous sub by Brenda and then the pen when Kasper boots it against the back of Wilf's head and then upends the Bournemouth lad who the ball comes back to ... We are a lot stronger now ... but have tough fixtures... as it should be.
They didn’t get CL this season mate, they were in the Europa league the whole time. I think Real will pull you limb from limb fwiw, for all of your experience in that competition, you’re playing the masters of that trophy, who know how to win it better than you lot do. Slice n dice on the cards imo, as your back four is still piss poor.
