A quirk at that time was that the goalkeeper for the last BP match versus Darlo and the first KC match versus Sunderland was the same bloke - Michael Ingham.

Remember when they shut Elland Road down for a few games because of crowd trouble and Leeds played a night game at BP

    Think they played Spurs .

Who ever it was i remember i supported the other team. ( spurs ? )

Deano at Wembley, the FA cup final, and with that seeing City in Europe.

It was Spurs. I was there. I was also at the Man U match. Really scary walk back to town. I didn't even need to go! I only went because I didn't want my mate to have to walk back by himself. Some Mancs followed us and threatened to stab us. We went into the station because he was catching train back to Scarborough. It was seriously unpleasant. I'd come across from Liverpool that morning but decided to stay at my parents' hose overnight because it wouldn't have been safe to go back on the same train as the United fans. A very scary day.

    1. Invading the Slovak town of Zilina - never to be forgotten, the match was 0-0, Huddlestone missed a pen but it didn't matter, history was made, our first European match, 16 hours on a bus across Europe, mental!
    2. Being behind the goal at the Emirites when Geovanni scored that howitzer, was with the Arsenal fans and had to 'hide' my delight plus a great weekend in London to cap it off
    3. Listening on the radio with my Dad in the car to the FA Cup game vs Liverpool in 1989.. 2-1 at HT as has been said against that great team too..
    4. Deano!!!
    5. Very recently - 3-0 at the KC with my nephews against bogey team Burnley.. totally satisfying..

Watfords goal being disallowed in that game was a very key moment as well.

We seemed get a lot of non City games at BP. I also went to Leeds Sunderland FA Cup replay, N.Ireland Spain and England Under 23 and Football League representative games.

Same here , I remember it as out by the touchline not far from halfway! Was the season after Sunderland won FA cup , so I thought it a momentous win .
Am I the only one who finds your avatar a bit disturbing ?!

Far too many to list since my first city game in 1982 but one that stands out is away at Elland Road beaten TWS 2-0 with Dyer and Parker scoring and jumping about in ecstasy watching TWS fans turn on each other cos they couldn't get at us. Was a fun walk back to the coach with abuse and objects being hurled at us. Was worth every bit though.

Up there with Gordon Banks save against Pele in Mexico I reckon.
The following year that Myhill save was played on the opening compilation of highlights introducing the live games every weekend here in Toronto.
For a while the Barmby equalizer in the second leg was included if my memory serves me well. Maybe it's just permanently embossed in the recesses of my mind as it was so crucial !
No wonder I can never remember our wedding anniversary !

Anybody remember Millwall coming on the last day if the season and getting promotted , Teddy Sheringham scored from the pen and kissed the pen spot after he scored ..

Millwall brought loads on the train that stopped at Boothferry park
