    Bit of help please

looking to get a couple of season pass/memberships for the first time in years (been a Saturday football manager, last time I had one was 06)

Now I know its not the done thing these days to get a pass, and that most people are actually cancelling them rather than getting em but I'm 90 miles away and the boy is off to Hull Uni so I'm going to use it as an excuse to spend a bit of time together every other week.

Anyhow this membership. I gather its a 12 monthly thing, is there any upfront payment?

    Cheers.

We don't know, the club don't know! and the price will likely change in November as is generally the tradition of setting season ticket prices! Just call the club, even for a laugh, as the ticket office people won't have a clue.
    Hope that helps!!

    Hi,

There is no upfront payment for a new member as far as I am aware. There's only be an upfront payment for people who have cancelled in the last 12 months (or it might be a different period of time).

    It is a monthly payment.

You have to give two full months notice of cancelling.

The club have to give 90 days notice of price changes. They are still considering next season's prices but can't now change them until at least November.

If you are signing up I'd wait until August other wise you'll have to pay for the remainder of this month.

There’s talk on a Facebook page about former members being contacted and asked to renew their membership and a free home shirt for doing so.

That’s a slap in the face to those who remained a member over this time. Not only would renewers haven’t needed to pay across the closed season but they’ll also get a home shirt. Where’s the loyalty there?

If you cancel 1st August you’d have to pay for October too. You have to give 2 full months notice. So it would be £63 for 3 months of football and a shirt.

I’d be surprised if they gave you the shirt the day you sign up too. They’ll probably send you a voucher mid-season or something.

Surely, if you pay in advance, 2 months would be Aug & Sept?

Nope, it has to be full months according to the Ts &Cs. So you'd have to tell them by the end of the month before. So tell them on 31st July and you pay for August and September. Tell them first thing on 1st August and August is not a full month because some time has passed in August.

It’s a hard decision this year.
I want to quit and pay on the gate (not literally)...

But don’t want to lose my great seats used over the last decade of matches.

I think the club is at a standstill and I don’t see any inclination to go beyond treading water.
