Another daft statement. I don’t mention Hull. Did I mention Norwich who were relegated and whose cheapest ticket is £45 per month sold all their 22,000 season tickets by 27th June? My only wish is that we could do similar. Of course they were never daft enough to have 2 rugby teams in their city to dilute support.

If you go on Facebook there is a good article by Bobby Charlton when we signed Terry Neill about why our crowds fluctuated so much. He quotes an ex player as well. He also mentions Leeds low crowds, 35.000, in comparison to others when they had such a good side at the time.
