At what point do we open West upper?

It might be just me, but I do think having a full lower bowl gives you a better atmosphere than having a few spread out in the Upper West.

I've just looked and the Upper West holds about 5k, so we don't need to be worrying about opening it until we start pushing towards the 20k mark. I suspect with the ticket pricing, we'll have a lot of away fans too this year, so I think we'll certainly get close.

There's still lots of availability in the South so we need these seats filling first.

. West stand is crap by the way. Flaskers and no swearing. Old people who just want to sit all match.

Do I choose to sit in the West stand? - Yes I prefer it to other parts of the ground. I have sat in every other stand in the ground in the past

Am I surrounded by Old people? No

Does anyone near me use a flask? No

Does anyone near me swear - Yes

Total misrepresentation on your part

Do you, or anyone near you, stand up?

Next time you are in the vibrant, bouncing West Stand be sure to video all the people stood up roaring the team on and share it with us.

So because we aren't standing, we aren't roaring the team on? Because we actually watch the game -as opposed to some who would much rather spend a portion of the game looking at and goading the opposition fans, in your opinion our support isn't as valid as yours?

It's fantastic that we have great supporters in the East and North Stand who want to sing all match. However, that isn't for everyone. We are all there to support the team - whether we stand or not

Those sitting down are more tickling the team on rather than roaring.

So, him saying people in the West Stand want to sit and watch the game was correct?

Yes it was - but he was incorrect when he said everyone was old, nobody swears and everyone uses a flask (I presume that is what he meant by "flaskers."

So, are you vocally backing the team in the West Stand as you sit watching the game? Or just watching and politely applauding when they score? We have supporters in North and East Stand who want to sing all match? Since when? As for your remark about people rather goading the opposition fans that is ironic coming from someone who caused the original poster of making sweeping generalisations. As you say yours you presumably include me in that group. A 72 year old with heart and lung problems. Maybe you aren’t bothered by away fans making more noise than the much larger home crowd, some are.

We all know the type he is referring to as flaskers even if they don’t necessarily have a flask.

Yes

I said some like to goad the opposition fans - not all (and some do). The original post said the West Stand was full of Old people, Flaskers and People who didn't swear. None of which are correct

I don't know you - so no I didn't particularly include you at all.
