  6. My brother reckons its pink but he's just a colour blind **** <ok>

To be honest, it is the most reliable car I've owned, and to say I am only 31 I have had a few cars now:

    1st: E reg 1.1l Fiesta
    2nd: J reg 1.1l Fiesta
3rd: N reg 1.4l Clio (spoiler, alloys and lowered <yikes>)
4th: 02 reg 1.4l MG ZR (my favourite)
5th: 06 reg 1.9l turbo diesel Megane (fastest although first was **** with it being a diesel)
    6th: the Avensis

Lowered clio, ouch. bet the MG was a bit nippy though.

Please tell me it did not have a big noisy exhaust?

Or best offer, might take four, you could always sell it for the same, later on.

They had baz 1 a few weeks ago was £17000 really wanted it, made a silly offer but got rejected, was gutted.

    Totally worth it.

Rocking very slowly and very loudly in a 1.1 litre Polo at the moment.

Acceleration heralds sounds I can only describe as the death of mechanical children. Truly terrible... But a comfortable interior and a big boot for the dog.

Saw T4 00 DUB the other day as well, really wanted that for the Trannie.

  12. Yep, it was pretty nippy (especially with it only being three/four years old when I got it too) but the Megane shifted like **** once it hit 2,000 revs! The MG didn't have a big exhaust but I managed to acquire a chrome exhuast and a six CD mutli-changer on purchase <ok>

Edit: and yes, I got quite a few "technical" problems with the clio such as wishbones and suspension cracking, the clutch went twice in two and half years too!

  13. I could get my real nickname as a standard plate so it between £200 and £300 depending on where you look...<ok>

Good lad<ok> Can't beat a Polo. Bit more muscle would be nice though, the 1.4 16v is a fun drive.

    My first car<magic>Open air version.

It's all about the rapid acceleration for me, you are only supposed to do 70, so the more horse, the more tempting, the more tempting, the more chance of fines and bans. Sly police hang around in there vans in places where it is easy to catch you, not where it is dangerous. Money making ********

  19. The Avensis isn't the quickest of the mark but it just keeps going at the top end, excellent for the motorway but it loves a drink too <ok>

I loved my second 1.1 Fiesta, used to beat Porsche's, BMW's, etc over the first twenty-five. Used to really piss people off <laugh>
