Good run out first half, Victory are a good side they keep the ball well, and work hard!

From what I've read, Ibe and Sterling look impressive on the wings. <ok>

I get that we're practicing keeping the ball but cant help but think we're missing someone to boss the midfield. seems like every other pass is backward.

    ****e game....

pithc aint great but the ball is moving inconsistently.

borini is awful at holding it up. passing aint great either... gerrard is going ok in the playmaker slot but the ball isn't going to him fast enough for really quick gerrard long balls in behind. wisdom is a bit lumpy in CB slot..... nothing really to get excited about here.

    amazing crowd again.

    I hear we're lacking a spark - Coutinho/Suarez/Sturridge

My thoughts exactly, He should know he's at a big club already, wouldn't have such large fan base world wide otherwise. His ambitions could very well be fulfilled here.

It's a lot special when one could help a team get to the very top rather go to team that's already up there.

Sterling and Ibe have done great. We are missing Lucas on the pitch, we need to find another Lucas somewhere out there, I know I keep saying it!

Thought Allen was our best player that half, assured on the ball and looked forward when he got in good areas.

Someone like Eriksen could have been really useful in the first half. We really lack that spark when Coutinho doesn't play.
Whey aren't we after him, especially when player is very much interested in a move.

In my Defence when I predicted a 6 nil win, I was assuming Downing would start :emoticon-0103-cool:

Sterling look in great form, should have been a goal from his run at the end of the half, a simple pass from gerrard and it was a certainty.
having trouble getting the ball int good areas though, build up is too slow.

I might have been Premature with that he has taken his pants off and taped up ready though.
Borini and Henderson have been shocking

Agree with this. But looking forward to seeing him get a full season under his belt with Almeria. I think this season will make him as a senior
