Meet Nigel Adkins

Next Tuesday night, Nigel Adkins and Andy Crosby are the guests of the OSC.
The Meet the “Gaffers” event is free to OSC members and only £3 to non members.
1904 Lounge KCOM starting at 7:30pm.

Although from what I gather on here, these events are not everyone’s cup of tea, it is a chance for supporters to ask questions, grab selfies and autographs.

The OSC is also hoping to present 5 TVs and 7 Digital radios on the night to Ward 33 Castle Hill, funds for them were raised from our pub quizzes.

Interesting that he’s doing this before the close of the window, every ruddy question will be about who we’re signing.

 

If he answers that honestly at the beginning, will people walk out in protest?

 

I don’t think anyone will blame him for no signings!

If he uses Hull City all the way through then it’s a good opportunity for him to get some strong goodwill.

 

I want a selfie with Adkins. He'll be sacked soon so I might take what will probably be my only opportunity.

 

I expect that Nigel will be asked at the start and after that there will be little point as he will explain that he has his targets and bringing them in is nothing to do with him.

 

I hope the night is well attended and is a success. God knows the club needs some feelgood factor from somewhere.

 

Don't think I could manage a whole evening in the presence of our Nigel.

 

These events aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, but I’m sure most people on here respect the fact that it is tea for many others

The situation with Ward 33 is that we have to buy equipment and donate it as they have no way of dealing with money.

The tvs are used by patients who cannot sit up and watch the telly as they are on their backs. Small LED tvs are perfect for this. The radios are always in demand.
