It presents male as the normal. Female as the abnormal. The male wears a standard football kit. The female is distinguished by a bow, skirt and shopping bag. Seriously. What is the point? A Tiger mascot wasn't an overtly male/female thing - from what I saw all the kids tended to like it.
I always thought Roary looked ****ing stupid anyway right from the start, but its just a mascot, ffs. The female one looks no less ridiculous than Roary. Having said that, the lad who was the first resident of the suit was a good laugh though. Used to join us in the pub after matches, get a bit carried away with entertaining the crowd resulting in getting in trouble with the management and the police sort of ****. He was head hunted by Exeter though and went down south a year or so later.

You know what else is ridiculous? Remember when the whole West stand flooded after the Huddersfield game? They're replacing some of the carpets and paying way over the odds to get it done on Christmas Day. There's been about 3 months to get that done ffs.

At the end of the day it's the only action you're going to get. When a greasy haired, bald headed, spotty nerd in an anorak runs to the pitch side and shoves his hand up poor unsuspecting Ambers skirt whilst tugging his tiny phallus with his other grubby trotter we'll all know exactly what you look like. That's a long sentence but it paints the picture quite well I think.
When our mate's mrs was complaining about him not taking her anywhere on a weekend he offered to take her travelling around the country with an excuse to get dressed up for the day and it would never cost her any money.
