"@AgentScotland: Dundee Utd's average last season was 7,481 and this season they've had 7,482 with one home game against Champions Celtic still to come"
"@AgentScotland: Aberdeen's average attendance last season was 9,296, so far this season with one game remaining their average is up to 9,563"
"@AgentScotland: Hibs average attendance last season was 9,909, so far this season they've averaged 10,543"
"@AgentScotland: ICT's average attendance last season was 4181 and this season without a Rangers visit they're at 4055"
"@AgentScotland: Motherwells average attendance last season was 5946, this season they've averaged 5230 so they're only 716 down without 2 home Rangers games"
As you'll see I noted that Hibs and Aberdeen are exceptions. Aberdeen and Dun Utd are both closing stands next season and it has been out in the open that Dun Utd are in financial difficulty. But nope, none of this has anything to do with Gers not being in the league.
"@AgentScotland: Celtics av SPL att is down by over 3k from last season however overall its the most fans they've had through gates in a season since 2007/08"
"@AgentScotland: St Mirren's average attendance last season was 4492, this season they've averaged 4342 with one more game against Dundee #BomberPelters"
"@AgentScotland: Ross County's average attendance when winning SFL1 last season was 2873 and they've seen that leap to 4342 in their first SPL Season"
"@AgentScotland: Dundee's average attendance last season in SFL1 was 4,223 and has jumped to a very impressive 6,039 this season for the SPL's bottom club"
Ok. But to me, the league reconstruction and redistribution of wealth is tacit admission that clubs are missing the money from Rangers being around and need a bit of help. That's my take on it any roads.
Celtic SPL attendances 2012/13 89,1415 2011/12 96,7182 2010/11 93,0395 2009/10 86,6061 2008/09 109,5740 2007/08 106,7449
"@AgentScotland: Hearts average attendance last season was 13,381, so far this season its 13,005 with a big Edinbrugh Derby game still to play"
To be honest I did think the SPL was over, but a lot of them figures are average attendances. But the point is, Rangers not in the SPL has hurt these clubs financially, you would have to be an idiot to claim otherwise.
Yer first point re Hearts is baws... Yer second point has some truth in it. It been financially skewed in favor of the Old Firm for years but now, with the death of the Old Firm, other clubs need the money to run their business. It wont affect Celtic - the new distribution model - but should have a positive affect on the smaller clubs.
