Saw that this morning, then read the Mirror link. There are no quotes, no 'insider info', just a journalist (That term becomes looser everyday) writing a very short article. Whilst I dont think we'll spend like last year, mainly cause we dont have to buy as many players, we've still got to buy some players or we may as well give up on 4th before the season even starts. It makes no sense for ambitious owners who want to win the league not to financially back the club in a sport where money brings success. Man City would still be a team struggling for prem survivial without Money. However if we can get some bargins and excellent frees, then thats always a plus.
