Will do Mr Dennis tache...fixture list comes out second week in July
Got a friendly at home v FC of Manchester sat July 21st 3pm

Also away v Harrogate town tue 24th 19:45pm

Yup Nbe tiger Will had a bit to say about life at city and the owners .
Just what most think on here.
Sad for the fans really how things have turned out

He liked the protest photos Sir Ben took outside the kcom stadium

Scarborough chairman manager and players mixed with the fans

Said Scarborough and south shields will be going for promotion again

New signings all have played in national league or higher so should do well

# of course I hope they do ...but win lose draw I will enjoy going as was the case with City.

Following City ...the urge to get back to going

Following Scarborough and the urge to make it to games

I am sure have helped so much especially the last 10 years

I'm a stubborn twat...and I ain't kicking the bucket yet !!!

As everyone on here has helped for sure

Mention of South Shields takes me back. Went to Brid Town's first ever game as a 9 year old in 1959 when they changed their name from Central United (don't know if the name shortening was to attract new sponsors or if tbe owners thought Central United was common and lousy<laugh>). First season they won promotion as runners up. Second season got to first round of the FA Cup by beating South Shields 5-3, unexpected as they were from a higher league. It was my first experience of football fever. Largest crowd I have ever seen at Queensgate though one against Scarborough in the Cup qualifiers a couple of years lateris supposed to be the record. Didn't get to the first round again for over 40 years when Ken Richardson was throwing money at them.
In those days Town played in black and amber. Unfortunately now it is a common red kit
Some of us were discussing that Brid Town team from 1961. We can't remember who played in games for City played 3 or 4 seasons ago, or all of the Town team which won the FA Vase at Wembley, but we could all remember that team from 1961.
Hope you carry on having a good one and enjoying your football (even though they are North Yorkshire bastards<laugh>).

Yes, 12,000 out, 12,000 in on a Saturday. Those were the days. Was making £8-£12 in tips in 1964 for 6 hours case carrying on a Saturday when you, could see the Stones and Beatles for the equivalent of 35p.
Hell of a shock when I left school 3 years later and was earning £6.50 a week. An even, worse shock when they started knocking off 41% of it in tax.

Ooohhh tell me more! I’m always looking for less populated places to take the dogs!

We went to Mrs Bishops Doggy Delhi in Filey last weeks. The dogs were very impressed. Very cheap too

Scarborough Athletic v Spennymoor Town tomorrow

Kick off 2pm

Barchullona

Went to Gresley v Brid in a cup game a number of years ago...
Lots of fights and pitch invasions by the home fans but the seaside mafia had the better of Gresley bunch

Don't even know how I ended up going to the game
