Scarborough well on top against Marske United and took the lead after 26 mins.
Stayed at 1-0 ....got scrappy ...looked to be heading to a 1-0 win
Boro foward broke free , put the ball over marske United's goalkeeper...bastard hit the inside of the post and somehow rolled along to goal line

5th minute of injury and marske in our area...we fail to boot ball away....marske shoot .....GOAL

whistle goes for full time one kick after restart

Fook

Scarborough 1 Marske United 1

Replay next Tuesday night at Marske

Booked onto coach

Had to look up where the f Marske was when I got home

Somewhere near redcar..

Roll on Tuesday

Vital we win this one with £4,550 at stake for the winners and £6,000 at stake for next round winners

Scarborough owe about £15,000 for new stand

A good day as usual just as it was watching city even when we was piss poor. It was never really just about the result.

Though Scarborough have loads of supporters that vanish if we have a losing streak.

691 today

300 fans stayed at home today

Tossers

Fa cup first qualifying round replay

Marske United 1 Scarborough Athletic 2

Marske scored first after just 5 mins
Walshaw equalised for Boro from a great free kick

Scarborough grabbed the winner with 4 mins to go

£4,550 for the winning teams in the first qualifying round

Second qualifying round draw

Southport v Scarborough Athletic

Southport from one league above us in the national league north

£6,500 for the winning teams in this round

The fa cup is huge to non league clubs

........

Never got to the marske replay though I was booked on coach ...didn't realise it was treatment day on the Monday so was tired Tuesday .

But FINE.....AS ALWAYS

Nantwich Town v scarborough Athletic

What a great start for Scarborough as they go 2-0 up after only 15 mins and are well on top for the rest of the first half .
Second half and Nantwich playing better but score staying at 2-0...75 mins gone and looking good for Scarborough

Then Nantwich score in the 76 min
And equalise in the 78 min
And again in the 81st minute

Full time comes and Scarborough have lost again

Scarborough supporters want rid of John Deacey who has took the team backwards

Not all his fault though

£16,000 still owing on the new stand.
Big contracts paid off to get rid of some players given to much money by Steve Kittrick the previous manager means less money this season till the new stand is paid off

Also some supporters are to blame imo who stop going because Scarborough aren't winning games ..

Fan owned clubs will never improve if fans stop going as money at the turnstiles is all so important .

It's only a scabby £12 adult price
With concessions for the older fans who do most of the moaning over wasting £7

FFS £7 quid !!!

Fa cup next Saturday
Southport v Scarborough

Fingers crossed because the £6500 for the winners could make loads of difference

To make matters worse for Scarborough supporters Whitby are top of the league

Sad to say Scarborough wont be meeting City in the FA cup Final this season

:-(

Fa cup second qualifying round

Southport 5 Scarborough Athletic 2

From what I have been told Scarborough were ok in attack but piss poor in defence and any ball that bounced in the penalty area was a chance for Southport to score

3 of Southport's goals coming from long throw ins into the penalty area.

Fans blame the manager for bringing in poor players while getting rid of better ones

Of course the reality is we had to many on big money for this league...ie £200 to £500 a week and the money spent on the new stand meant a cut to team budget

We won't go up this season...but we won't go down imo

Fans need to stop moaning and keep going and then next season we will be in a better situation money wise.

Me , I never understand why people stop going just because of a poor game or a few poor games or a **** season

Besides we may still make the play offs

:)

Reactions: Kempton
Scarborough Athletic 1
Warrington Town 1

845

Defender Jack Johnson carried off with a suspected broken leg . Horrible but quite accidental injury from two opposing players tried to get the ball during the second half.

The rest is not so important ....

Same old story ...lots of half chances .
Lots of in the box play but often resulted in no shot.

Scarborough are playing some good football, .but can't score. We keep it on the ground more , but the big boot up field brought lots of goals.

James Walshaw, the top scorer in the league last two seasons can hardley hit the target this season .

Scarborough averaging around 850 this season...With some twats not going because we are not doing very good.
A reason I have never understood.

A draw was a fair result though Warrington seemed to have grabbed a late winner and I no idea why it was disalowed

Glad it was of course .

Tuesday night Scarborough at home to Basford

Roll on tuesday

You're drawing a lot of games this season, rather like City are.

I think you'll come good and finish higher up the table, there are worse teams than Scarborough in this league.

Listened on Yorkshire coast radio extra

Mickleover on top first half . Scarborough woke up on second half but despite some good chances they just could not score.

10 games gone and only 1 win.

Tuesday night Matlock v Scarborough .

Scarboroughs last manager Steve Kittrick will be wanting a victory against Scarborough who sacked him last season

Though Kittricks replacement John deacey is struggling while Steve kittrick is doing good.

Next Home Game October 12th
Scarborough v Stafford

Hope to be back at the Flamingo land stadium that day having missed the last home game v Basford on Tuesday 1st Oct which ended in 1 - 1 draw ..Chest infection ..antibiotics and steroids ...I really hate missing a home game ...what ever the score..
