A great day for the long time Scarborough Supporters

They are back in the same league they played in in 2007 when they went bust and folded

690 at Colne with over 400 from Scarborough....Colne average around 160....biggest gate they have had in years today

Scarborough and south shields should do well in the evo stik premier as they have far bigger support then the other clubs and have cash to spend

2 games left for Scarborough
Tuesday Glossop H
Saturday Osset Albion H * all ticket

1400 sold already should be a 2,000 sellout

For next season more seats being added plus more terraces.

Scarborough council own the ground but Scarborough Athletic are paying for stadium upgrade

I THINK they will get in the National League North .

No idea if they will go higher but either way I have enjoyed going to Home games this season and only missed 2

To be honest I thought not going to City would really piss me off but huge surprise everything about Scarborough has been good

Lots of noise
Decent prices
Terraces
Stand were you like with your mates

Anyone going to a game let me know or anyone in filey for day let me know

Now it's a fight for second place

The top 3 all go up as the 3rd place can't be caught in the charge for the extra promotion place

Some hoof ball teams in this league but Shields and Boro are decent teams as are Hyde.

# sounded a great game at Bristol Today...loads of goals...let's hope the Allams piss off soon and City get a decent owner and realistic prices return...Junior has been to every home game as usual.

This thread is brilliant
Thanks for the constant reminder that football can be fun. Really pleased for you having a successful season too

Mind you did you just say that the club are paying for the ground upgrades like extra seating even though the ground is owned by the Council?! Surely not...that would be like building an extension on a council house!! A really well run club would never do that........

Pleased to see you still had finger nails before the last game Filey (unlike the way City would have you hanging) ... your passion for both City and Borough shine through. Lets hope we're both on the UP!

Thanks for posting the video... Cant help wondering about the football pitch, crown green bowling, cricket pitch in the shots to the right of the left goal..!!! I'd hate to bet playing up that hill....!!!!

not sure if it's an illusion of the camera or if the pitch is actually slanted

what are the rules for a slanted pitch, what's to stop us from making the kc on a 10 degree slant :emoticon-0175-drunk

Thanks Mr Stanley
Your a star

The ground at Colne has quite a slope to it.

Scarborough have one of those 3g pitches , I think that's what it's called

I had hoped to go to colne but didn't work out as I actually tipped my 4 mile an hour noddy scooter up on a kerb on hill

Ouch bruised arse ...lol ( idiot )

I will be going on Tuesday v Glossop and on Saturday v Osset Albion

Standing is what does it for me and being able to stand were you want with people you know

Like it use to be at Boothferry Park

That video clip shows the colne fans all in one corner behind goal stood a few foot from Scarborough fans

In the league above , evo stik premier Scarborough and South Shields have twice the support of everyone else so should both do well money wise

If I pay £25 a month I can become a part owner of the club and have a vote on everything effecting the club

Anyway thanks again Stanley for posting video.

Not sure on the rules about the slant on the pitch, but I don't think you can have a copse in one half. :emoticon-0112-wonde
If that slope were allowed I think the ball would spend more time in water than on the pitch. <laugh>

Scarborough Athletic 2 Glossop North End 1

960. Pissing down hence under 1000
Last night second best gate of the night was 216 at Radcliffe 0 South Shields 4

Great goal by Coulson charging through Glossops defence and shooting over glossop goalkeepers head...his 42 goal of the season in league and cup matches

Good second goal by walshaw Scarborough £15,000 mid season signing from farsley , 21 goals for farsley 21 goals for Scarborough

What a potent attack

Scarborough Nathan Valentine sent off , straight red after 35 mins approximately

Glossop got a goal back via Deflection in 88 min

Decent game spoilt by the weather

More covered standing for next season and more covered seating so weather won't or shouldn't drop attendance's

Last game on Saturday ..all ticket
A couple of hundred expected from Osset Albion as it's there last game , next season Osset Town and Osset Albion become Osset UNITED

Party time on Saturday , players and fans in the bar after game

Scarborough have sold 1600 tickets so far
