Shocking stuff from Celtic. No change of tactics despite the state of the pitch, tried to play almost every ball up the worst side of the pitch, and no attempts to put their defence under pressure with quick balls over the top.
Got exactly what we deserved there. Kelvin Wilson was keeping the whole thing afloat foras long as he could. Hooper looked bright enough but County dealt with the other threats well. Even after heading the ball straight back out the pitch that led to a goal, Ambrose persisted in doing exactly the same thing time and again. That is a coaching issue. He's becoming the whipping Bhoy when things go wrong but tbh he deserves it. McGeough could also be expected to cope better defensively. Also Mulgrew could and should have Ben a lot stronger. We did some things competently. But the same old frailties are there. I am not even annoyed. After 5 minutes you could tell what Celtic had shown up. The two goals we did get were hardly deserved.
Manager Neil Lennon was critical of his players' attitude as Celtic threw away a two-goal lead to lose at Ross County. "I'm expecting better from Celtic players," explained an angry Lennon. "I know I can get better, but there's some of them who look as if they don't want to be here any more. "I want players here who are prepared to roll their sleeves up, but in the last couple of games I've not really seen that. A lot of them are not really here mentally."
Same old shtick tbh.that patter is the Lenny equivalent of 'Beelin'. He undoubtedly has talent as a manager but there are huge blind spots.
Lennons got to take some of the blame. Putting out a weakened team hardly sends out the signal that you are taking the game seriously.
Just home ,horrible day , and somebody said the way the split works out we will be back up there !!! As for the team of non triers we could have conceded 6 in the second half . How many times have we conceded a 2 goal lead to Scottish teams ??? I can think of at least 5
When asking questions , might as well ask another , when was the last time Celtic and Rangers ( I know they died ) both got beat with a Saturday kick off 3 pm and neither game were live on the telly ????
No Rebs, sellick are reigning champions, so "champions elect" doesn't make sense! I actually have respect for you, as I do some other taigs and also kid on taigs, like my brother pud, but you are ****ing wrong about this, just ****ing trust me. Also, if your horrible mob and my great team lose to ****ey teams, I couldn't give a ****, nothing will matter until we play you again, and say what you want, but it is the ****ing truth. FTP.
If you don't have any thing intelligent to contribute etc etc etc . That Spanish guy doesn't realise you are really a socialist trapped in a right wingers body. I might be wrong. I think we are both Champions and Champions elect. I hate this we are both right Craic....but I think we are. If I am wrong, it wasn't the biggest mistake I made. I was a full 12 months out.
Celtic throwing 2 goals leads and getting beat , can remember twice at home Dundee 80's and Hearts under O'neill . Away from home Motherwell Scottish cup 76 ( remember I am quite old ) Rangers 80's ,Inverness under Strachan and yesterday . Can anybody think of any others ????
