To be fair to him he has used twitter to thank the fans for their support. Glad he's gone though as rarley have I been so underwhelmed by a 'midfield enforcer'
As much as I don't rate him, I would never go out of my way to post abusive messages on twitter- that is seriously (for the want of trying to find a better word) lame.
Everyone gets it now, no matter weather you were the best player for the club or not, they'll be someone who thinks your rubbish and want to let them know. Lots of losers hiding behind there computer screens (I'd bet half of them haven't seen him play!) Good luck to him, was fairly rubbish for us though
The bizarre bit to this whole twitter thing is the people who well wished McOxo are now getting abused by the same people and stupid threats of ''I've now seen your face'' etc etc- it's just becoming embarrassing. Makes a section of our fans look like right tits.

It's cringeworthy, but maybe because I'm bored at work, quite gripping. I'm liking the football factory Charlton fans, and when you click there profile to find a skinny guy in a club holding a WKD bottle.
There are some nice tweets from JJ, Popo and Sullivan. It seems to have simmered down somewhat. One twit on there says that McOxo was no worse or no better than anyone else last season! Everyone to their own, I say. Wally.
People also use Twitter to kiss arse a little bit just to get a response. But nice comments to players (current) will hopefully have nothing but a good effect. As much as I don't like McOxo I would never message him (whilst he was with us) bashing him. Don't see the point.
It is embarrassing having fans like that, who have watched Football Factory and that hobbit in Green Street a bit too much and decided that's how they want to be seen. Sending messages like that can only have a derogatory effect, imagine this (very possible) situation: A half decent player comes through the ranks at Swindon next year, we're in the market to buy him, he speaks to his agent, then asks McCormack what Charlton are like, to which he receives the reply "well a load of their fans told me I'm **** and that I'm a ****." No prizes for guessing what the kids decision then is.
Let me guess... kid thinks 'well, they've got one thing right then'... at least the first half of his reply is true.
