Wouldn't suprise me if McLean goes. I reckon we'll bring in another striker using a one in, one out policy.

Unless it's really silly money (ie. what we paid for him) I would'nt let him go, he is a useful player as his hustle and bustle makes things happen and he shows an example to the rest.

Agreed but he's not a striker anymore, he's more of a winger, so we might see over £1m

Didn't go today - but again by the sound of it we do lack a proven goalscorer to ensure all our possession gets translated in to goals.

The defeat today, hard though as it was to take, does highlight our deficiencies in this respcet if we are to really challenge for promotion - and if the top two is out of reach, we do need to cement our place in the top six.

Listening to Nick post match with Burnsy impresses me more and more about his knowledge of the game.

It's based on the fact that McLean's snap shots seem to be better than Fryatt's, and yet a greater percentage of Fryatt's shots in total are ending up in the back of the net. If Fryatt's overall record is better, and McLean is better at the quick shots then Fryatt has to be better when there's time to think.

But try this next home game, when McLean gets the ball start counting, if you get to 3 and he's still in possession then everytime he shoots it won't go in, and at least half of them will be off target altogether. Do the same with Fryatt and if it happens 4 or 5 times one of them will be in the back of the net.
