Well done lads, if you don't mind me saying, that's why I love our people, self opinionated, strong minded and not frightened to express opinions but mature enough to recognise other peoples feelings, top class and please both stay on the forum and continue to state your case.....<ok>

I don't think we are blaming SoD, the comment I made was sometimes its better to throw caution to the wind and go for it. If we won 1-0 I would of been bouncing of the ceiling last night. But we never because we done something we should not have and that was not going for the jugular. If we attacked them we would of more than likely at least held onto the 1-0 win or the very least 1-1. We allowed them to come at us like we did when winning against Barnsley 5-1 which ended 5-3. You allow teams to come at you there is only so much our players can withstand.
I didn't want McInnes in the club 2 months before he left but I choose not to mention it. I did try supporting him as I did however blame the board as I could see history repeating itself time and time again. What I didn't want was at the time I wanted Del out I could not see anyone out there to replace him, that would not do the same as him prevent us going down only for it to start again next season. SoD I think can take us forward but not as far as some believe.
Some wanted Billy Davies who IMO would of prevented us going down but would of bitched and moaned to much for us supporters. Plus he could never come as he was on garden leave from Forest I found out later along with his staff, hence the reason he never moved to another club.
My blame lays firmly on the boards feet, if you want to try and back a rookie do that back him when he says the defence ain't up to much back him not with loans just back him. They choose to give him money for forwards and not help with the problem.

But what did I know they can play with he right guidance, just a shame yesterday they held up as much as they could but you can build a dam if the water pressure is too much it will burst like we tried playing yesterday.

I guess thats where we disagree Glenn, because I would still have been mad that I spent the whole game biting my nails, and when you look at the actual content and not just the result, 1 gifted goal is not sufficient enough proof we deserve to stay in this division and that next season will be better. Plus its so easy to say "if this would have happened" but the fact of the matter is, it didnt happen, and we lost. The players worked hard defending so I wont slate any of them, but he set them up to fail and he has done so EVERY away game and I just dont know why.

I like him as a home manager, and up until yesterday I liked his answers to the media, but yesterday he should have stood up and done what Chris Powell did and blamed himself, then promise the fans he will learn from this and go into EVERY game from now on with a desire to win.

Would you seriously turn up to a home game against a team you thought you could easily win, if you knew that the manager was going to play for a 0-0 draw? You wouldnt, and its taken me 4 away games to learn that thats his mentality for away games, so whats the point in going? My support and effort means nothing because the players dont need my support to sit inside their 18 year box and park the bus for 90 minutes.

I will agree that Dean Saunders is a shocking example of a manager and he is another favorite to get 2 clubs relegated in consecutive seasons. But his GK sub was because of an injury apparently, so it wasnt tactical.

Ince and Saunders. Two Managers I am delighted we didnt employ. Thats my positive for today.

And as for how I feel today, I blame Watford, Blackpool, Leeds etc. for not doing what they should have done and win their fricking games.

Agreed, it looks completely bleak at the moment but I'd rather be in our position, with a manager like SOD then have dean saunders as manager

'Your owner is to blame for not replacing McInnes early enough, and then charging Sean with an unsupported task that ****ing Hercules would baulk at.I'm not having a go at the supporters - far from it, it's just that the buck stops in Guernsey guys, and I suspect a lot of you know it'

Absolutely spot on. But Sparkey, you're wasting your time with a few on here.

Glenn - I genuinely think Sparkey's ok and not kicking us when we're down. Bloody hope so.

Correct Redprintt - not kicking you at all mate. It's just an honest opinion of where you're at from what I read and hear - nothing else.

I've got respect for Sean for what he did at both Bournemouth and Donnie, but he's been handed a task by your owner that he will do extremely well to resolve.

I genuinely hope he does for the supporters sake, but not for Lansdown's. He makes all the right noises but has sat this one out when you needed him.

I can't complain about Lansdown, the bloke is bank rolling us at the moment, without him, its either the path of Portsmouth or a Billionaire buying us, frankly I don't want either.

SL has to take this on the chin and admit his mistake, leaving Macluless in charge for so long is his mistake.

I really do think it is to much for SOD to keep us up,but the change in football at the gate is positive
I would imagine there will be a complete change in team next year,i would expect sod to take us back up at the first attempt.

What a load of twaddle Forest did not get rid of S O'D to bring in Billy Big Mouth Davies they sacked S O'D because they wanted a manager with a bigger profile a former international manager and look where it got them, they had to replace the replacement with another because the team started crashing back down the table. Sean is working with what we have at the Gate atm with the exception of Kelly and Maloney they are the same group of players who shipped goals hand over fist his first priority was to try and stop the rot which in the main he has after 12 games you have decided from your much vaunted fund of football knowledge that you could do better well why not send in your application next time a managers job becomes vacant you never know you might get an interview.

You clearly dont read any of my posts clearly! A.) Not once have I exclaimed I could do a better job, B.) Not once have I said that I don't want SOD at the helm, C.) I never said that the direct reason he got sacked at Forest was because of his passion, I said I could see WHY he got sacked, if thats his mentality, methodical and safe. I dont know the real reason ANYMORE than you do as to why he got sacked. So maybe you should read that post, and ALL OTHERS on the subject before you start hurling nonsense at me.

If they wanted someone with a bigger profile, why did they employ him in the first place??? So what you claim to be the reason is just as much "twaddle" as mine.

Shiny? With FFP coming, there isn't much point. I'd take someone who has the clubs best interests at heart because he is a fan. Come on you know it makes sense!... If we did have a billionaire, we would have had our stadium by now though! Money speaks!

I don't see Colin Sexstone mentioned anywhere! His period of 'leadership' was
catastrophic in so many ways for your club.
