"IMO he is a coach with a typically stubborn personality who knows what he wants and is thick skinned enough to put up with all of the critical flack until he achieves his own aims"

That sounds like exactly the sort of description you all would have given to Buckle back in the days when you all believed in him.

have to say mcghee would get a similar reception as buckle did if mcghee slagged off the fans such as buckle did. but so far he hasnt <ok>

quite right blue baldee, the strawberries have frequently loaned from west brom, everton etc and look where we are. with respect your o-o score on saturday reflected the loss of 2 strikers. good luck in your search and the climb up the ladder.

    Why thank-you, AJ.

Hopefully with at least one more striker through the door ('though god knows when) and some more performances like Saturday's, we should start to climb out of our current predicament.

I would comment on this too, if I could make any sense of it? (all my comments are just my opinion BTW, but my opinions are more important than yours because I support a vastly superior football team.) <ok>

As you say Banksy, that is your opinion which is utterly biased and subsequently of no consequence.

Regretably yes, but hey ho, they're richer than us. Quite honestly we don't have the funds to sign the likes of Parkin, Gillespie and Damien Johnson.

However, it was the manner of our performance on Saturday that gives us heart. We played some really good stuff - the best this season, but just couldn't put the ball in the old onion bag.

There's plenty of the season left, so although I'm frustrated right now, I certainly don't think that our season is over by a long shot.

Didn't you lot get beaten by Gillingham ? At least we both have that in common :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Come on Rovers - who the hell are we getting in through the door??!!

I do hope they'll have a training session or two with the rest of the squad - at this rate it'll be a handshake on the coach to Exeter, that's if we get anyone in at all.....<grr>

Tell you for sure BB. He aint gonna get any old body just to satisfy the punters. He seems to know what he wants and who will fit into the squad.
OK he failed with Constable, but he seems to be a typically stubborn cuss and determined to do it his own way!

Have you noticed that Chuckle seems to have employed his same old tactics at Luton. Gathering liquorice allsorts seemingly at random. After a good start the wheels have ominously come off latterly! Seems familiar doesn't it?

cardiff are richer than us, and we stuffed them so thats a poor excuse :D and yeah we lost to gillingham but they seem a pretty good side this season so it's not THAT embarassing :p

Dont under estimate our manager, if we would have beaten Gillingham we could have been involved in some old bollocks cup game tonight and picked up more injuries or suspensions, Leeds play tonight!

    Good news for us...
