Nunez is a lightweight, although he could probably bag us 15 goals if he got a good run over the course of a season. Still, no way he can adequately replace Ross.

Chin up? We're about to lose our second best player this season and it's ****ing "chin up" time?

I'm not going to delude myself by pretending this is good or satisfactory news. We won't "move on"; we never get replacements that are nearly good enough, and the magical powers of Neil Warnock will do bugger all to change that fact.

This is another epic ****-up from Leeds United. As it stands, we're looking like we'll lose at least three of our best five players from last season. We're being laughed at by ****ing LEICESTER and NORWICH fans.

I think I'll keep myself firmly ****ing angry, thank you very much.

    BATES OUT, HARVEY OUT.

    :D

Sorry, I was a bit tetchy earlier. Still, there really can't be any excuses for losing any more of our best players. We blatantly have the money to keep them, and even if they're not perfect, players like McCormack are the ones who'll win us promotion next season... if we get our act together.

I don't mind selling Ross McCormack as long as we invest in better players.
Lets wait and see what happens, however no one should renew or spend anything at Elland Road until they see the full signings made.

Yet I still think it is a buyers market and over the summer some amazing players will become available (lets hope Harvey can raise his game & bring some in).

the worrying thing is they'd rather get rid of McCormack and offer a new player the same amount, just to appear they aren't "being held to ransom". Stupid ****ers don't understand the importance of KEEPING PLAYERS YOU KNOW WILL DELIVER FOR YOUR TEAM.

Tell you what, Marko, we'll appoint you as manager and you can build your own team. I can just imagine your explosive response if Warnock tried to tell you how to develop a website without having a clue about how to do it. It's just more of your speculative pish.

and old peacock, we've waited, we're seeing. This is the tripe we have to put up with, again. I think there should be a march on Elland Road and a protest at a time when we know there's a lot of people in work.

This is just poor management by the club yet again, it's a ****ing disgrace. We're not going to use the McCormack money to bring in better players because that NEVER HAPPENS.

Things are not that bad in Leeds, we might be cashing in, but in context we would need to sell 100 Ross McCormack's just to service Scum's annual debt....

    THE TIMES
"Manchester United supporters had to contend with the news yesterday that more than £70million has poured out of the club in debt and interest payments in the space of nine months"....

Warnock doesn't watch website programmers multiple times a season for 90 minute periods and pay for the privilege. If he did, I'd say he were more than entitled to an opinion on how those websites are developed. You can't be disagreeing that losing McCormack is a bad thing, can you?

deflection. I don't give a **** about their debt, I care about the current situation of Leeds United.

"It could be worse" is deflection. Why can't you just admit we're going down the ****ter?

More to the point, I don't do website development and wouldn't want to touch it with a barge pole ever again because my limited experience tells me it's boring and a pain in the ass.

My current speciality is programming graphics cards to make pretty stuff happen. Thankyouverymuch.

Why are you so insistent that every single decision is definitely the managers decision?

Are you aware that the manager answers to the board of directors - one particular director is a stubborn, stingy pain in the ass control freak who likes to get his dirty hands involved in everything, and the other is TERRIBLE at negotiating contracts.

Why does it HAVE to be the managers decision that this has happened? Why are you so incapable of accepting that despite a change in manager we're having the exact same problems holding onto our best players as we did with every other manager since bates took control?

I hope you manage to improve the quality of the blasted things. Always seem to **** up along with the battery after I've used a laptop for about a year.

    not quite what I meant.

I write the graphics software that RUNS on graphics cards, I don't have anything to do with the hardware itself.

I am currently writing a DirectX 11 graphics rendering engine and it looks pretty sweet so far.

I'm hearing the same noise over and over from you, it's just a different noise. It's just one of unfounded optimism based on nothing and the inane sound of "shut up, wait and see".

I'm bored of hearing this ****e. The board is gloomy because it's a Leeds United football board and Leeds United football fans are given less to celebrate year on year. This summer is starting to open up into the same crap. We're losing Ross McCormack. But at least we can be happy about... oh wait there's nothing. Try again next week.

Just because you're "optimistic" doesn't mean your mantra is any less tired and boring, the only difference is mine isn't delusional.

    Fair point...

I don't trust Bates mind, nor am I convinced that Warnock is the next coming. But I do feel that if we stick to the basics by bringing in a few decent pro's to blend with the youngsters it might just work..

Try to keep the anti bates it all gloom to one board a day mate, and I will keep the optimism to another one.

    Deal?

Anyway, who would you sign as a new player to support the existing squad?

I honestly don't know, I can't identify players because the looming feeling that we'd never get them or the horrible feeling of going backwards means I can't possibly enjoy the speculation that it would have any benefit. We're losing Ross McCormack. So we've signed Jason Pearce and made a step forward, but before we've even had chance to let it sink in and think "wow, that's a really good signing, things might be different", we've made two steps back in listing Clayton and failing to hold onto McCormack.

I physically cannot just ignore the state of affairs. I bring it up in every thread because every thread has at least one person sticking their head in the sand and trying to pretend everything is ok and it frustrates the hell out of me. I come on these forums to vent.

Ups & Downs pal, its part of the fun...

Come on tell us who you want to sign & I will have a word with Santa (Or Boab). I forget which one is the big bloke you lives far up north & leaves you gifts.
