I don't think that McCormack would be difficult to replace. He got 19 goals last season, which is good, but not great. If someone's prepared to pay 1.5 million or so for him, and he's adamant not to sign a contract then we should do it. But then again...none of that would be reinvested into the team by Bates
Why does anyone think warnock will sell him now he has realised bates is not gunna provide him with any funds?
Its a good point, why should Colin care if they walk for free in 12 months.. He just needs a great year out of them. As he is only here for one year to see if he can do the job of getting Leeds promoted, P.s. If he does succeed then he might stick around to be fired by our new American, Austrialian, Sheikh, Oligarch owner with a big budget and bigger idea's.
Exactly, if i was colin id just keep snoddy and ross as that would be the best chance of going up. not gunna care about not getting a fee
How about letting our top goal scorer go is nonsense? Do any other club that are up there do that? Promotion push and were already looking like losing probably our two key players in Rosco & Snod. Where's the money gone? I'm no accountant and it serves no purpose to remind everyone about the Gradel Howson sale etc but we are being mugged off. Think its bad now, watch the gates next season. Wouldnt be surprised if Bates puts us in Admin before gambling with his own money.
I think you inadvertantly answered your own question. It may be the only way NW is going to get funds.
That will be the last thing to happen. The only way we enter admin is if a creditor puts us in - if Bates or Harvey are involved in another admin, they are out of football forever as they won't be able to pass the fitness test. But as soon as an admin happens, the administrator will kick Bates and his cronies out, change the locks, and take control. At that point, do not expect a penny to be in the accounts, it will have been syphoned off to the British Virgin Islands.
So you think our earnings are accruing interest in the 'what if' account that picks up all the law suits against Bates, or at least a certain percentage?
Ricardo Fuller on a free in place of McCormack and use the £2 million elsewhere? Don't know why I dare think for a moment Neil would be given any funds from a sale
No idea Bucks. Am very sure that as the club starts to go down the pan, money and assets will be siphoned off in anticipation of the club being forced into Admin. That will include debts to the HMRC. Bates will happily ensure that he is far away in his tax exile of Monaco, but Harvey wil be the one to pick up the pieces. Every chance that their shady backers will drop both into shark infested waters. To understand what is likely to happen to LUFC, look at Luton.
What would his wage demand be like? Im sure Roscos agent is asking for the going rate and this is going to be the problem with anyone coming through the door
