I had nothing against him whatsoever regarding not wearing a poppy..It's a free country and it was his choice..However, some of his tweets were nothing short of moronic, and he really comes across as being a bit on the thick side. I do think that some of the stick he got was unwarranted last season which must have had a negative effect on his performances..
Maybe if he had of got his head down and performed on the pitch then the Sunderland fans would have forgotten about his Poppy debarcle. Unfortunately like Mrs Doubtfire and the big fat useless defender... they were all ****.
