Most relegated clubs don't spend £80 million on transfers though. Plus Charnley appointed John Carver remember. He nearly got us relegated last season with that decision.
True, but from Ashley's point of view he would argue that he gave his minions a substantial sum to spend and that it hasn't been spent wisely.
Yep, but between them they still managed to squander most of it. Mistakes have been frequent and many - but this last one, the keeping of Schteve, is pretty much the icing on the cake.
Don't worry guys, Even though we lost to Bournemouth, Scteve thought it was a great idea to only only give the players a day off on Sunday (I would have had them doing 15 bleep tests) but he has also given them Monday off! So we all sit through that Dross on Saturday and the players get a nice two days off, no training free to chill out and have a well earned break! DDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!CCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKSSSSSSSSSSS
Giving them the day off? I'd have had them in for 5 training sessions yesterday and 10 today. They should be earning their inflated wages. The guy really is a ****ing idiot.
I guess the silence coming from the club indicates that Tufty is staying... FFS... I wish I supported another team, any team, anywhere.!!
He wont be sacked, agent Ashley has final got the right man in post to fulfil his target for the season.. Money well spent by Short I think
They are in meetings today discussing it. Supposidely our PR guy (doesnt live in NE) hasnt travelled home yet (believed to live in London). He travelled up for the weekend game and wont leave until a decision is made. The majority of the board members want him out but one doesnt, im not sure if this is Moncur/Carr/Charnley oror what, but some kind of announcement is expected today, whether it be stay or go.
I wouldn't be taking the piss when your CEO has gone into hiding to avoid questions about her handling of the Kiddy Sex Offender.
How do you know so much, oh Mighty GURU?? I wish to sit at your feet and bask in your insider KNOWLEDGE.. Ommmmmmmmm...!!
Expect the following statement either today or tomorrow. "The club can confirm that Head Coach Steve McClaren has left by mutual consent. The club would like to put on record its thanks for Steve's efforts and we wish him well for the future. The club not be making any further comment. "
Made up. That's the kind of statement that I am expecting if the rumours are true. I was told differently yesterday [by a relative that works at the club], but they have been way off the mark before.
