He can't complain I guess, based on recent results. But any new manager that comes in has both hands and both ankles tied by a dire lack of finances. I fear we may be moving to the revolving door policy so loved by Briatore

Well! Not exactly surprising given the footie we've been served, the discontent amongst the fans and (I suspect ) dangerously low levels of ST renewals.

They must be half seriously worried about a relegation dogfight although last year 43 points was enough but the year before it needed 51 pts and a GD, so 52 really. If it's the latter required they should have sacked him before Rotherham. Hindsight is a wonderful thing!

The Ainsworth that has got Wycombe to 17th in league one, I will stop going if Holloway comes back, just who would be slightly interested must not be given the job on account of mental instability

Doing a good job to keep that Wycombe team up in L1 having taken them over near the bottom of L2.

However we’d only ruin him and spoil memories of a fine player.

so for a club with no money we now fork out more cash to an ex manager.
I have to say that unless they had someone in mind that could save us, and is readily available, then maybe a split in the summer would have been a better idea.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think payoffs like this don't appear in FFP??

We have plenty of money; were just not allowed to spend it.

I’m hearing from Reading fans that it could be the bald bloke that used to manage them... mcDoghnut.

I said on the match day thread that (for the first time) I was losing patience with McClaren and couldn't trust him to make the right squad decisions over the Summer. I guess Amit must have read my post. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Wasn't expecting that tbh. Our options must be severely limited which is why I wouldn't be upset if it was Ollie again, not saying it should be but you never know. Knowing Tony it'll be CR in charge Saturday and we'll win 5 nil and he'll get the job.
