Neither Green nor Smithies should have played because they've both been shyte recently. If Joanna was given a game yesterday it might have had the desired effect on the pair of them. Who knows, (s)he might have surprised us. Can't have been any worse than the other two's recent performances.

Hmm. I'd love to see the negotiation between Levy and Ashley as they try to outdo each other in hyping up/running down the lad. Ashley I'm sure would be willing to take him off Spud's hands for 10mill plus Aaarons whereas Levy would make it his life's ambition to screw over Ashley. And to think both of them balked at 15 million for Austin in favour a Korean nobody's heard of and a Serb nobody's heard of. It's at times like January 2016 that I would introduce differential pricing and actually increase the asking price for Charlie for those who were previously interested - mind you it's academic now, he wouldn't go there anyway. Still there's always Chelsea - they may be desparate by January if Costa manages to get himself banned.
