Looking at the fixture list i cannot see us taking any points in the month of Nov, come to that Dec does not look to good,if we continue with Slavis see through tactics. We then come to Jan and the transfer window languishing at the foot of the table we could lose 2/3 players, who do we get no one of quality. A complete possible nightmare scenario.
'Cookie' Coleman is taking over at Sunderland, allegedly. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...an-sunderland-new-manager-wales-a8061791.html Both he .. and Kit Symons .. have resigned from their Welsh jobs. please log in to view this image http://www.faw.cymru/en/news/faw-statement-chris-coleman/ Got to say the fixture list hasn't been kind to us this season. Know it's half a dozen matches away but new manager syndrome and all that, and up at their place.
Have seen some of the Newcastle fans comments on what appears to be Bennys renewed Jan bid for our captain, the comments range from he could be past it, to a great buy if under 10m. What kept cropping up was if, what is very possible, a new manager. What then would be his take on Cairneys transfer. ? A very interesting next 4 to 6 weeks
An interesting article re: : Slavi having no other tactics but the one played under Fulham FC transfers and rumours, article "pressure is mounting" sums up how many of us feel
I wonder what happened to the deadbeat that our management did not think was worth 3m TARKOWSKI. Mind you the money we spent on Fonte. Kamara, and Soares really was inspirational.
On todays Fulham fans gossip a survey was conducted on last summers 11 acquisition The votes on hits and misses were as follows HITS Norwood,91.2% ~ Ojo, 87.9%,~ Kalas, 82.3% ~ Piazon, 75.8%/ MISSES Kamara,33.3% ~ Graham,23.3% ~ Mollo,23.5% ~Cisse,17.6% ~ Fonte, 12% ~ Soares,11.8% ~ Djalo11.5%. Mostly agree with the above, with the exception of Mollo & although at present a complete W O S, Soares could improve. It would be interesting to see what are other fans views are on this list.
Most of the Misses haven't really had much game time. The ones that have, like Fonte and Kamara seem like they don't have the skills or class for this league. It's been said Jokanovic doesn't play Mollo because he is a maverick and does not adhere to tactics and just does he own thing. Norwood is accurate at passing on dead balls, but slows play down and has not really linked up with either Cairney or McDonald.
Gary 'the Mouth' Monk has been sacked ... after a win against Sheffield Wednesday. please log in to view this image 'Arry anyone .. in time for the January sales?
Blimey, some festive season - both managers have been sacked. Wednesday announced today that Carlos Carvalhal has gone by mutual consent! please log in to view this image
Sounds like the Chairmen have panicked about the investment they put in during the summer hoping for Premier League But both Boro & Wednesday won their games. This league will get more competitive in the transfer market in January.
Of all the games I have seen this season i feel that Tim Ream although not the best, is definitely the most improved. What do others think.
Hard to believe it given his play 18 months ago, but Ream has become a key part of our team. This season he's spent alot of time covering for young Ryan (and Kalas, during his recent form dip), which makes his solid play even more impressive. I also quite enjoy the Reeeeeeeeeeam chant.
So much is about confidence, and I really believe that chant has helped enormously. We didn't see the Cruyff-like turns he performed against Birmingham earlier in the season or even when we were on top form in the second half of last. Having listened to a couple of his FulhamTV interviews also believe there has been a significant amount of work being done by the coaches on improving his game. For one, on headers he now attacks the ball more aggressively. And two, his 'reading of the game' is much better. For instance, when he goes forward and our attack breaks down rather than just filing back into a regular formation - into a kind of no-mans-land safety first position - he now takes up a position which keeps pressure on the opposition. In other words, rather than thinking as an individual he's more team oriented.
Possibly the moment that cemented Chris Baird's status with fans was seven years ago today and where better than at Stoke.
Another one bites the dust. Mark Warburton has been fired by Nottingham Forest - bullet dodged by us there! However, Gary Brazil takes over as caretaker manager. please log in to view this image
