Anyone else find watching England play to be eerily similar to watching Fulham? You know there's talent in the team but you have a host of individuals who cannot string a pass together. A complete absence of a central midfield presence means an inability to hold onto the ball and no quality possession. Occasional counter attacks by your capable winger are unsupported by anyone else. As an aside, congratulations to Gary Cahill and Phul Jagielka for winning a point in the Ukraine tonight. Can we multiply that point by five, as we played 2 vs. 11?
Last night was a strange game. Credit to Ukraine for the way they put us under immense pressure when we had the ball. Their left winger was absolute class, although by the end of the night he was diving too much. I thought we were solid whilst being very uninspiring. We lacked a worldy player who could create one bit of magic. It was dare I say very fulhamish. Still love Woy though, his honesty is great but for an international manager to be happy with a draw shows that we will never really be competing with the big guns. On a different note, has anyone ever run a half marathon. Myself and my wife are running the Royal parks half marathon in 4 weeks. Have been training for a while now but could ever do with some advice as to how t prepare the ay before and on the day. What is best to eat and when. The race is at 9.00 in the morning so I think I will have to get up at 6.00 to get breaking in early !!!

Just thought I'd share this; some of my mates play in a 6-a-side league, and one of the team names is "AC A Little Silhouetto Of A Man".
It seems a lot of things are going the wrong way... Our website is a mess... Also the ticketing is going from bad to worse. They send paper tickets instead of loading into the cards.
They've changed the style of the Webpages, and I presume it's been done with different software, so someone hasn't got in right with the online ticketing pages or thought it through properly before putting it live.
Has anyone else enjoyed the America's Cup boat racing on Sky Sports? Normally I'm not a fan of racing of any kind, but I've been transfixed by these races for the last two weeks. I haven't seen anything this exciting since the World Cup two years ago. We Yanks were down 8-1 to New Zealand and all the Kiwis had to do is win one more race and the cup was headed south. But the US team, with is Ausie captain and Brit tactician, have stormed back to draw the series and the winner-take-all race is supposed to happen tonight - weather permitting. I'll be unhappy (not bummed) when this is over.

I watched all the races and he deserves some credit for the turn around, but Oracle's win had to do more with big improvements to the boat and teamwork than it did to one man's contribution. I guess there were seven nationalities represented on the USA boat, including two Ausies and the Brit. But I think the lion's share of credit should go to Kiwi Russell Coutts. Not only did he run the USA team, but the unparalleled excitement of the racing came down to his choice of boat design and the course through SF Bay. So the Common Wealth was well represented.
Isn't it just. And why has it gone all "red"? A sop to Marathon? Needs a campaign to return to the original background and what we are, BLACk and WHITE
