Just watched that Youtube video where loads of stupid Chelsea fans had no idea about who played for them and which players were coming to the club. Very funny.....
I thought that he was a big disappointment when he played for us, often sloppy and a bit disinterested. But for me the issue was always one of lack of focus rather than lack of ability. You don’t win the Europa league if you’re not a quality player, and I’m open to the idea that it might be different second time around. Perhaps if he were to come back then his old Marseilles mucker Barton might help keep him honest.. Stranger things have happened.
As was mentioned before -there are 2 areas of concern, desire to play for the team and wages. We can't afford to be chucking money at players who are only interested in a payday - would M'bia (or any of you for that matter) swap Europa League football for a probable relegation scrap? If the only thing that gets the player here is money then I for one would rather we look elsewhere...
