I raised concern and mentioned it when Warnock started a fairly strong team last year against MK Dons and Faurlin got injured...given our current situation at that time I felt it ludicrous to start him in that sort of tie, and I feel even more strongly this time around, given the lad is only just coming back to full fitness. What on earth was Hughes thinking, let alone starting Faurlin but fielding a fairly strong team in general. Outrageous. If you look at the state our defence is in and the players he put out tonight, absolutely beggars belief. Praying Faurlin isn't too badly injured. Another 3 goals shipped at home as well, i'm usually fairly mild mannered about things such as this but saying what he did before the game, and given the final result, i'm extremely disappointed. Performances count for nothing without results.
Yes, for Reading. I jinxed us - at 1-1 score, I put $2 on Reading to win @ 5-1 odds + $2 on us at 11/8.
Poor result with a decent team out, god I'm sick of feeling depressed after another sh#t result, hoping Monday will be better
Bloody hell. Second half seemed devoid of tactics. Not that we weren't still dangerous, but the organisation of the first half disappeared. Their third was a defensive shambles. Not totally clear what happened, but the ball came across the goal and was tapped in from a yard or two by an unmarked reading player. It was a bit desperate after that. Please let Faulin be alright. Horrible double team foul, completely unnoticed by the ref, who missed a lot. Hard to sum it all up right now but for all the potential menace up front, we didn't make their keeper do enough. Phone battery low now, and I've not eaten cos a feckin burger and a coffee is more than the feckin fiver I had on me. Keep the faith folks, we're close to brilliance, I'm sure if it. Baked potata
I am not sure I can face the thought of seeing a gloating toad (Allardyce) on TV if the R's come second again on Monday.
Very threatening first 15 minutes, deserved goal, didn't even see their goal as it was so soon after and i was still talking with mate, we seemed to sit back after that, defence seemed a bit complacent, free kick was just unlucky for us but the 3rd goal was far too easy Had to deal with annoying Reading fans below who just sang our chants constantly throughout the match!!
