I hope you're wrong. Throwing And landing are two different things against one of the most technicallly gifted defensive boxers ever.

I do have serious concerns about all these MMA fighters and the drugs they take. Way way too much testosterone.

Mayweather great defensively not so great offensively. He's certainly beatable by a puncher who can put him under pressure. He's wobbled quite a few times in his career. I think his age as a top level boxer and 2 years out go against him.

That's not a good enough case - Mayweather has faced awkward punchers before e.g. Maidana and hard punchers e.g. Mosley.. McGregor throws a lot of slappy punches, they're not straight. Does McGregor have a top-notch boxing defence? No. Now mayweather will hit him, he'll probably come out early and get a lead as he's often done, then defend and hit Conor on the counter. I've heard it from Sugar ray Mosley that McGregor doesn't have a hard 'boxing' punch and the gloves won't make any differnce either - Mayweather has fought using 10 and 8 ounce..

    It's ****ing WWE anyway
    Scripted nonsense
    Battle of the Knobheads

Neither fighter will want an early stoppage in case the rematch doesn't get offered

Mayweather has been out of the ring a while, but is always fit and is, annoyingly because I can't stand him, one of the best boxers ever
No idea about McGregor, because I'm neither a teenager or a Yank, but I'm sure his chin is good.

    Prediction - Mayweather on points
Hope - They start pissing the ref off and he knocks them both out

By the way I may have seen this on here, but I think it was Twitter so I'll repeat it regardless

"Is there a similar alternative to watching the Mayweather v McGregor fight tonight? Maybe Arnold Palmer playing 18 holes...against Desert Orchid?"

    Bah ****ing Humbug

It's just a shame that in an interesting sporting experiment you find yourself basing who you want to win on which of the massive ****ing ****ers you absolutely despise the least.

McGregor doesn't have 0.1% chance. It's laughable to suggest he does.

If it's remotely close mayweather will just be carrying him, if mcgregor somehow wins it's a fix.

As I've said, I have no interest in this. It's an obscene way to make a lot of money off the gullible who think it's a genuine fight.

That said it'll be a regulation 4 nowt mauling by the Irish fella.

I've been saying it all along it's going to be a **** fight. Mayweather will try and draw it out, McGregor will be like a rabbit in headlights.

My expert opinion, based on a deep knowledge of these things, is that it could go either way. Unless it is a draw.

If McGregor doesn't get a lesson in there - which he is 99% likely to (I don't do 100% certainty in sports, I've played and watched enough to know that odd things can happen), then the sport of UFC and MMA in general will get a huge boost.

As for Mcgregor - mentally he has a very impressive approach similar to young Tiger Woods and physically he's a specimen but having followed boxing for some time, I just can't make a case for him.. unless Mayweather suffers from a slip or actually gets very tired
