Our board (Steve Lansdown basically) have already stated that they won't be selling to another Championship club, if this is playing the game and trying to drive up Maynards price then it's certainly working! I've got a feeling that they've put a price on Maynard and won't let anyone speak to him until that bid is met. Could be why Leicester keep coming back with bid after bid.
I think at the minute Bristol are just going to wait and see how high we go. Once they think we are losing interest they will accept a bid

We havent given up yet. Sky are just running with what your press said and our press still think Sven is after Maynard. And our club doesnt speak to the press about players until there signed unless it comes from Sven as of which it didnt. So it still as you where
Wayne Routledge should be next and then all we need is a striker and squad players. I dont think we will give up on Maynard until we either sign him or sign someone else. Same goes for Yakubu
According to Sky News, Leicester has ended their pursuit of Nicky Maynard. A shame really, because the guy seems no closer to signing a new contract. Millen needs to give him an ultimatum, and if he doesn't match it by signing right away offer him to everyone for a last-ditch £6M.
I can 100% guarantee you we are still after Nicky Maynard. It was just your press making stories up trying to get Maynard to sign a new contract.
