i just think it wouldnt be a great replacement for maynard, why do people think we cant get rhodes, its the same situation as when we signed maynard, a young 21 year old striker attracting interest from premier league clubs, and we won that race, no doubt we could get rhodes to sign for us
Rhodes will look at it, as a gamble he stands a good chance of getting to the championship with Huddlesfield or join a team who are outside relegation by goal difference.
If I was him I would wait until the summer to decide.
I knew why you want him and I would love it as well but just can't see it happening, if it does I will leak a bit in my pants but don't think I will changing them for a bit

seriously though its to old he will be 30 next year and he dosent score loads of goals, we need somebody alot younger and alot better but ofcourse thats just my opinion

Some people have mentioned we may make a bid for Maynard as a straight swap with Jermaine Beckford
I dont think we will but Beckford may be on his way out, If that does happen it would be up to weather Beckford and Maynard would want to switch clubs. Beckford wages would also be a problem for you

You dont know the reason why he didnt want to come. Maybe he wasnt convinced by Sven. He might like Pearson being here instead

For someone who doesnt always play as a striker, that goal ratio isnt as bad as your making out! Dobbie is a very clever player who not only score his fair share but also assists them too! 29 is not old in this day and age shin, your just being to picky, like you were with McInnes if i remember rightly? you need to lower your expectations, were Bristol City, not Real Madrid. Dobbie would be a excellent addition to the squad.
Sharpe has issues with our fans made a few gestures towards them at doncaster last season seems to stem back to when us ans scunny went up a few seasons ago, Im sure he would not come to us.

Cox is a possible one dont think he has had a fair crack at west brom if they were to come in for maynard maybe a deal could be struck with maynard going there and cox coming on a loan, I say loan as we are meant to be tightening our budget and as someone else pointed out he aint set the world alight since leaving swindon.
As for kitson sort of player the boss wants could see it would easily be in our budget fee and wage wise

I agree with this, Kitson is the sort of player McInnes is interested in. But as mentioned I think Dobbie would be a good pairing with Pitman
