I think its squads everybody should really be looking at. As we saw last season neither teams squads were able to deal with multiple injuries. I believe ours now has good depth bar left side midfield, theirs is poor and lacking depth outside the first 11. With multiple injuries they are in deep ****. Starting 11's then you would pick and choose from them but squads, I would not swap in a million years especially with Barton and Jose on the way out.
I think there's a danger of over egging the left side issue here. We currently actually have Steed (until he goes), Sessegnon, Richardson & Vaughan that can play there, although if Steed does go, I feel a replacement will be sought. Granted, we dont have who we want at left midfield but we do have left sided midfielders we can use there.
