Be under no illusions, the situation at City IS as bad as it seems.

This is their worst start to a season in over 70 years- and the form you're seeing is the stuff that relegated teams produce in the their last season in a division. Even if we win a few, as soon as another heavy loss comes along heads will go back down.

Sorry to be so negative, I'm just basing my point on history and City are no different to any other team in that regard.

    :(

    .

the truth is never negative, we have not yet a point which statisically is the trap door for a team to be in to go down...I will post the game/league position when/should this happen...a few more weeks yet!!!

Absolutely, still a long while to go yet but I fear for the worst unless some dramatic changes are made.

Given the inflexibility of the (massive) squad we're stuck with, City will need to make some wholesale changes to personnel in the next few weeks otherwise we're basically ****ed.

Plans for a new stadium seem like a distant memory now...

    Cmon Derek!!!

Our squad is no differnt to last season with the exception of Caulker, so I can't see why Delboy can't sort it..
Loads of games left, bit of a run and we should be ok.......
The board must back him to the hilt so we can bring some players in that's required.
If the manager is worth his salt, things should start to improve soon.....
    Don't give up yet..

maybe it is because it is lacking quality and in imbalance...loads on here and DEMI himself has stated that...

also some of the players enthusiasm and interest is severely absent

'Our squad is no differnt to last season with the exception of Caulker'

    1For - that's massive.

Plus Carey is injured and another year older, we miss his organisational skills.
Adomah is finding it much more difficult this year, he's in his 2nd season of the Championship and other clubs now 'double up' on him.
Also think Maynard or Stead haven't looked anything like last year.
The midfield has been improved only marginally, NK is better than LJ, but is hardly the dominant creative midfielder we've all been crying out for.

In a nutshell, our defence is weaker, our main threat Adomah has been sussed and our strikers aren't firing.

PS - we also miss the astute transfer dealings and inspirational leadership of Millen.
