Dreadful book. I also had the misfortune to pick up a copy of "The Bridge". The **** should be shot for writing that.

It's funny how you just can't take to certain authors. Dunno why that is. I try and read as widely as possible but there are some writers I try to read their books and I get about 30 pages in and have to stop.

    I read Dan Brown once.

It was so bad when you put it down it's impossible to pick it up again.

Weirdly, despite hating myself while doing it, I have read a couple of Dan Brown books - they're absolutely throwaway and the tiny chapters are a cheap trick to keep you reading but it kinda works.

While we're doing a sort of literature walk of shame, I once read a Michael Connolly book and thought it was alright.

I'm normally a right snob about books as well <wah>

Oh aye i'd shag her for sure, I just wouldn't read her books or watch the movies.

If I watch films with kids I want to see them having sex.

I read "The Da Vinci Code" because it seemed like the thing to do at the time. Despite wincing my way through it I started another (canny mind which one) and ditched it after 10 pages. Dreadful writer.

Also has the misfortune to read a Michael Crichton on holiday once. Every bit as bad as Dan Brown.

David Icke's "The Moon is Hollow" is an excellent piece of factual writing.
