Seems to be the basis of the conviction doesn't it.Clifford was just the unlucky one who copped a thick jury.

 

Or maybe the Jury was unusually not chock full o' cretins.

 

Much of this case reminds me of the old joke where a guy offers a woman a million pounds to have sex.

She agrees, but the guy then says he doesn't have a million but how about a tenner?

Certainly not, she says, do you think I'm a whore?
