Nah, either do it in English or do it in Spanish. It doesn't bother me anymore, he's earned the right to manage in the EPL, if speaking Spanish annoys the media & opposition then that's their problem. Its not like NC is falling over himself to impress outsiders is it. At least they are on the same page!
If the media really want to know what he is saying without David they can always employ their own interpretor. As part of the club's media commitments the Head coach has to speak to them, I am sure it doesn't stipulate in what language. If something is turned by the media then it can easily be put down to being lost in translation and mis quoted. Its another marginal gain in our favour. Mancini and Cappello spring to mind with regards to poor statements being blamed on their level of English.
Just in case a few Toon individuals are curious and are reading this. Take this back to Newcastle and spread it around. This was after a few months of being Saints manager: And if you've ever wondered where Ed Chamberlain goes when he isn't presenting for SKY, he goes here.
Think that he ought to learn German and get a translator to translate that into Spanish, whereupon David will translate to English.
His English is clearly better than the press have made out to be in fact I wonder if he understands the word.....****er
I don't understand. When he was with us, most people defended Pochettino and had various explanations why he spoke spanish in interviews. Then why so angry now?
Moved on and really don't care what the bar steward does...just want to beat Spurs and see him sacked!
In six months time David will still be working, Maurice, well, he'll still be living off a Spuds salary, but not doing too much work.
I was wondering that too. I'm guessing that because the footage is available for all to see on YouTube etc then maybe not? I have no knowledge whatsoever on these matters though!
