I did watch highlights and tuned into a few matches, Obviously Watched all the England games in disbelief and gave up until zee Germans made it worth watching again. Should have seen more but Mrs Rhino is Very Pregnant and work hours don't always suit.

I'm interested in your opinion on him though Nines.

Sorry Rhino, reading that back my post may have come over as a bit condescending. It wasn't meant to, I used the wrong emoticon.

Isla was wanted by Liverpool, Newcastle and Arsenal. Which should give a great indication to his ability. He is technically very good and has a perpetual engine that never ceases. He's passing and tackling are very good too, but the clincher for me is that he is well versed in playing anywhere in a back three.

Good luck with the future baby rhino mate.

If this goes through how long will it take for other teams "fans" to come on here giving the club grief for spending huge sums of money on these players when we can't afford it, so much in debt, smallest club in the league, smallest ground, worst supporters etc etc.......

Couple of hours or so?

Ok......simple question.....why us?

Logically, a 26 year old chile international who played for the Italian Champions leaving for a potential relegation dog fight, surely he would attract the attention of say Spurs or Arsenal if he wants to have a go in London..........It doesn't make sense, but maybe it's just me.......

If we do pull this off then maybe we do stand a chance this season......

Totally agree if something is to good to be true it usually is.

@ByrneBarry: Sky Sport Italia confirming the Mauricio Isla from Juve to QPR. Reporting deal should be done in next few days.

This sounds like a happy fairy story! Wondering if the nasty old witch is Mrs Arsenick or Mrs Mogrbina?

Has he signed. ????

Tell us when he has. any time before that is 99% bolloks !!

First team football

He had a good World Cup, but has had two very average seasons with Juve, after being brilliant at Udinese. The Juventini aren't fussed, think he's better defensively than going forward, poor first touch and passing. But they are very fussy fans and Conte is a brutal manager, perhaps thats why he has only had 25 appearances in 2 seasons.

Plenty good enough for us, something to prove on loan, can chat in Spanish with Ale.......

BREAKING: #Juventus confirm Mauricio Isla has a deal with #QPR and will have his medical tomorrow. #Chile

And the amazing thing is that he will probably be on half of Zamora's wages.

I still wait for the offcial site. If this come true our defence should be good enough.... Couple of strikers and a good midfielder and we are ready to rock!
