That long? Middle of next season for me

after a barren Jan/summer/Jan transfer window Jose may get the message that Levy doesn’t splash the cash, and then Jose will start to throw his toys out of the pram, we all know what happens thereafter

Genuinely intrigued as to how Alderweireld and Vertonghen have gone from being one of the best CB pairings in Europe, to a pair of liabilities, in such a short space of time.

I remember when people thought Toby was a better CB than VVD. Most Spurs fans on here did and a few bitter Saints fans.

I remember when he was pretty much in the same class as VvD. The latter has improved since then, but as a bitter Saints fan, I was just as gutted to lose Toby Alderweireld as I was Weasel Van Snake.

Toby showed a lot more class in the way be left Saints btw. Not that that really matters.

And that's game over at Anfield. Ex Saint Sadio Mane. Fuxake <grr>

@Suckmyklopp is going to be livid when he reads this.

When Maureen eventually gets sacked from Spurs, he'll be like 'I've won more trophies than Spurs ! I should be the one sacking them !'

Even the beeb are laying into the **** that is Maureen <laugh>

"Mourinho is now in full "what can I/we do?" mode after Son Heung-min joined Harry Kane and Moussa Sissoko as long-term injury absentees.

The answer is a simple one - a whole lot better than this joyless, negative, attritional performance that got exactly what it deserved.

Yes, Mourinho has injury problems but carping about how difficult the next three months will be is in danger of providing Spurs' players with a ready-made excuse for coming up short in the chase for the top four, the Champions League and the FA Cup.

Mourinho needs to ditch the defeatist stuff and get Spurs back on track because only six days earlier spirits were soaring after victory at Aston Villa."
