Phillips wants to leave - there's not an awful lot of sense in keeping an unhappy player. If he stays, it will get to a point where he will refuse to play and it will get out of hand.
 
How do you think Cortese would act if it is was our player? He let Chamberlain go at a price, but I wouldn't bet him behaving the same next time. Players expect to be paid according to their contract whether they are wanted or not...contracts work both ways.

Agree .

No club should allow a player to dictate what that player does ref changing clubs / contracts , it happens , but it's not good .
