Jeeez, my cousin just got signed to Southampton from Blackpool for
£6 million, So happy for him.

I dont normally post, more of a reader.. but iv bitten the bullet.

Blackpool boss Ian Holloway has fiercely defended the club's position over Matt Phillips and appeared to criticise Southampton's actions. Holloway said "I changed my phone number about seven months ago and one of my players told me that I don't answer my calls. How did he know a manager was calling me on a wrong number? "You are going to have to get up early to get past me". Presumably a reference to Matt Phillips? Anyone know what the **** he is trying to say?

He's saying "look how clever I am, I'm basically ****ing Sherlock with how I saw through that one!"

Also, "iTsMarvel_Twizz"? I can't help but have instant dislike for people with Twitter names like that. He Also Starts Every Word With A Capital Letter... *shudder*

Welcome Jordy. It's hard to believe that most of Twitter was moaning about our lack of transfer activity up until yesterday. Now they are about to explode with excitement. Anyway, who knows if Matt Phillips' cousin actually knows anything about the deal or has just been reading the same articles we have. But it looks good.
 
Adrian Kajumba has said Phillips to Southampton is looking a done deal.

A front 3 of Ramirez, Lallana, Phillips and then put Lambert/Rodriguez in front and the 3 is pretty fluid and mobile.

Sign both of them and a couple of good CB's and we'll be fine.
